Weather Mate - NOAA Radar Maps App Reviews

Searched a long time for a user-friendly, multi-informational weather station. This one goes beyond my expectations.

like the layout and the privacy features that dont use your location when the app is closed.

This is a great app! I love the layout. This app is very detailed, gives updated weather information and forecasts. It is easy to use and beautifully formatted. It also has a weather radio for emergency warnings and several other great features, which is so helpful because I live in an area susceptible to tornadoes and flooding. Its the best weather app I have found so far and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the weather. :)

Font too small. No maps unless you upgrade. Deleted after a few minutes of investigation. Ill continue to use Intellicast or STORM. Tried other weather apps, but come back to those two. The others just are looking for my money.

One thing I would like to see is local tide times and wave heights. I love that you include humidity% in your forecasts. Hard to find that for some reason.

Ive tried numerous weather apps and been disappointed. WeatherMate has all the information I want, including hourly temps, precipitation, etc. Giving it four instead of five stars only because the screens are quite busy and I would like to be able to opt out of some information. Definitely recommend.

The best of the best I have seen. I rate it 5+. I will rate it 5+++... if the app icon is changed to a better looking icon without word "FREE" on it. And if you will add option for changing the widget background color to translucent white.

I couldnt write the review from your email or your support page so I went to the appl store. It is working very well so far. I like the display and the radar is a good one. Not necessary to purchase a separate app for radar. I havent used all the displays yet but so far I have no complaints.

This is actually a nice app, with a lot of visual appeal. It utilizes the Weather Underground data for its foundation, and I like that. That being said, the clock display on the Advanced View is an ugly white box. A more subtle time display would look better, or remove it. Also, a weather app without a lock screen widget is pretty much a waste of space on the iPhone.

Allows you to only add one city on the free version. Adds are quite intrusive and annoying.

They add a new email account to your phone which cannot be deleted. It can be turned off. It fills up quickly with junk promo offers.

Ive tried almost every app out there and never have I been so impressed. Other apps have horrid uis. Not this one. Easy to use and everything you could need in one app. Well worth the paid version as well. Worried abt ocean temps? Forest fires? And of course severe weather? This is it. Going for a ride on the motorcycle? Take this app and ride knowing there are no weather surprises. Im still wondering why Id never heard of this app before tonight. Great job guys!

You have got to be kidding, no maps. So many other "free" apps have all this and "free" maps. Deleted...

Really a great app, always dead on.

This app is everything you could ever need for checking the weather. It shows detailed forecasts, along with weekly forecasts so you can plan for the future! :)

Im trying out the free version of weather apps before I pick one to buy, and this one has so many ads (some full page redirects) I just gave up on it. Before I gave up, it was an ok app - worked ok, but nothing special.

It used to be really good. But now every time I open the app this annoying popup comes on and I have to close it every time. Im not paying extra money to have it removed. So I got Weather Bug. Just as good but no ads.

Very nice weather app, but no radar allowed. I understand why radar isnt included, but it is in most free weather apps. Seems the adds alone would be enough to differentiate the paid and free. Its 5 stars with radar.
